Service Quotations and Estimates

• All quotations for services are provided based on the initial assessment of the furniture piece and the client's stated requirements.

• Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

• Final costs may vary if additional defects or structural issues are discovered during the restoration or upholstery process that were not apparent during the initial assessment. Any such changes will be communicated to the client for approval before proceeding.

Client Responsibilities

• Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the condition and history of their furniture.

• Clients must ensure that furniture items are free from pests or hazardous materials before collection or delivery.

• The selection of fabrics and finishes is the client's responsibility. We can offer guidance and samples, but the final choice rests with the client.

Payment Terms

• A deposit of 50% of the quoted service fee is required upfront for all projects to cover material costs and secure workshop time. Work will not commence until this deposit is received.

• The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service and prior to the collection or delivery of the furniture.

• We reserve the right to retain furniture until full payment has been received.

Completion Times

• Estimated completion times are provided at the time of quotation. These are estimates only and may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, material availability, or complex restoration challenges.

• We will endeavour to keep clients informed of any significant delays.

Warranty and Limitations of Liability

• We warrant that our services will be carried out with reasonable care and skill.

• Due to the nature of antique restoration and the unique characteristics of each furniture piece, minor imperfections or variations in finish may occur and are inherent to the restoration process.

• We are not responsible for damage caused by improper care or subsequent misuse of the furniture after our services are completed.

• Our liability for any defect, omission, or error in the services provided is limited to the cost of rectifying the defect, or at our discretion, a refund of the service fee for the affected part of the work.
